A sentence transformation model that has been trained on a wide range of datasets, including but not limited to S2ORC, WikiAnwers, PAQ, Stack Exchange, and Yahoo! Answers. Our model can be used for various NLP tasks such as clustering, sentiment analysis, and question answering.

DeepSeek-V3.1 is post-trained on the top of DeepSeek-V3.1-Base, which is built upon the original V3 base checkpoint through a two-phase long context extension approach, following the methodology outlined in the original DeepSeek-V3 report. We have expanded our dataset by collecting additional long documents and substantially extending both training phases. The 32K extension phase has been increased 10-fold to 630B tokens, while the 128K extension phase has been extended by 3.3x to 209B tokens. DeepSeek-OCR as an initial investigation into the feasibility of compressing long contexts via optical 2D mapping. DeepSeek-OCR consists of two components: DeepEncoder and DeepSeek3B-MoE-A570M as the decoder. Specifically, DeepEncoder serves as the core engine, designed to maintain low activations under high-resolution input while achieving high compression ratios to ensure an optimal and manageable number of vision tokens.
